Labor Day!

So I just wanted to let everyone know how fun it was to be a "stay at home mom" today! Yes it was a holiday were we are not supposed to Labor, but I did labor a bit. No much! I just enjoyed being able to do the day to day things that are usually a chore for me while I am working! Like for instance, my sweet husband kept the kids so I could go to the grocery store by myself! All you moms out there say amen! What a nice treat, even though grocery shopping is not one of my favorite things to do, it was a nice change to be able to stroll the isles instead of feeling like you are running a marathon where you are on a time limit because you have x amount of time before the little one is trying to climb out of the buggy and the big one is crying about not getting the kind of cereal she wanted even when you have explained to her that is is like pouring sugar in a bowl and adding milk. It was also nice to not have to start on the chip isle and be able to go through the store in some sort of order...Let me explain. When you have a buggy full o' little ones it is a nice distraction to go by and grab a bag of puff cheese before you begin shopping! I know, Alyssa informed me that was stealing, but I assured her we would pay for them when we got done. Its bad I know but it keeps little Mr. Energy inside the buggy where we will all have a better time!

Next on the list is dinner time. Instead of crock-pot meal of the week (which is always yummy) or some sort of fast food that I can grab in 5 min, or delivery pizza, I was actually able to sit down find recipe that looked yummy and make it! I know , Kelli doesn't cook unless it is football appetizers! But I did! Because I had time!!!! I will let you know how it turns out! Hopefully good or we will be going back to the pizza!

So that was just some of the things I was able to do today. But the greatest of all has been being able to spend 3 whole days with the 3 most important people in my life! It doesn't get better than that! That is unless we could add a maid somewhere to the picture! :)
