Happy Birthday Eli!!!!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday to the sweetest baby boy I know! We had a great time this weekend with great friends and family all here to celebrate Eli's birthday! Hopefully I will get some more pictures posted on here but also check out my facebook and I hope to get some on there as well!

VACATION!!!

Well we are off again for our 2nd 1/2 vacation! (Panama didn't count because it was too cold!) As soon as Allen gets done at VBS we are off to Myrtle Beach! Cant wait to hit the sand and sun! VBS was great fun this week! It is always a busy week and we are wore out after, but we always have so much fun. I miss the kids when it is all over! You see everyone for a week straight and now we wont get to see them until next Sunday! We will miss everyone! I know it is alot of work, but I am so impressed every year at the hard work that EVERYONE does to pull off a great week! Alyssa had the best time, anytime she has an excuse to learn and sing new songs and play games she is a happy camper! But she came home every night and told me all the Bible stories she learned about and I knew she was really listening. My favorite from the week was the story of Moses and the burning bush. She told me the whole story and got to the part where God told Moses to take off his shoes, so I asked here why do you think He told Moses to do that, and Alyssa said it was because He didn't want Moses to stand ON His presence! I just laughed and she was like what??? They listen really good but sometimes things are lost in interpretation! I love her innocence though! But, we had a really great time and hopefully when I get back I can post some more cute beach pictures!

Yes it has begun.....

I promise I am going to post some pictures of the beach on here soon, but let me just show you what I walked in on after taking a short break from doing the dishes! I stepped away for one minute only to come back to a munchkin in my dishwasher! Yes he climbed INTO the dishwasher and proceeded to "help" me unload the dishes! He is into everything! He is definitely all boy! Gotta love that sweet face though!!

At the beach!

I just wanted to let you all know out there, I AM AT THE BEACH!! Yea! I am so glad to be away from the go, go , go and gotta get here gotta go there, etc...... Just a few days of peace and quiet.......well except the kids!! Both are having a great time. Alyssa just wants to be going all the time and Eli is seeing everything for the first time which is always cool! But, I do plan on posting some pictures on here, that is if I can find the time in my busy schedule.......:)

Here come some more random pictures of things that have been going on in our lives! As always our life is a blur so I usually end up posting a huge post with some pictures so here it goes!

The first pictures are of the trip to Carowins with the Miller Family! Marty is the Youth Pastor at New Prospect church. We had a great time! The guys had fun riding the "scary" roller coaster and Jen and I ventured out and tackled one "scary coaster". Alyssa and Kenzie had the best time of all playing in the kiddie park.

The "boys" according to Alyssa.....

So here is the latest "gospel" from Alyssa:

I was putting her to bed the other night and after we got done saying our prayer, which BTW we had to pray for Pweacher Steve because he is having surgery soon so keep him in your prayers, she said " Mommy I did good I kept my eyes closed the whole time"! I said "Yes you did very good!" She said " When someone is praying we don't start talking, " I said that was right when we talk to Jesus we should be respectful. Alyssa stopped me and said "No mommy we are talking to God this time." I told her that God and Jesus were the same, wow Trinity discussion to a 4 year old, amazing that she got it and some adults cant! Well, I told her how God was the Father and Jesus was the Son, she then said, " Yeah Mommy you know Noah? He is one of the "boys" too!" I just grinned and told her she was right! How great it is for all of us to be "one of the boys"! Thank you God for giving us sweet children that put everything into perspective!
